COMMUNITY CALL ON CREATIVITY FOR FUTURE
CREATIVITY FOR FUTURE: HOW CAN WE WORK ON THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILL FOR THE FUTURE?
On October 26, we are going to talk about creativity. According to the World Economic Forum, it is the most important skill for the future. Are you wondering what that means? We will discuss the topic, and explore how everyone can connect to inspiration – very much like artists do – and how this skill can be used for problem-solving of all kinds. We will also talk about co-creation and cross-innovation, two central aspects of creative problem-solving. Claudia will guide us through an exercise, where we will learn how to connect with creative energy – everywhere and anytime.
Facilitators:
The call will be hosted by Diana Oser, collaboratio helvetica's community fairy together with our guest Claudia Rinke. She is an award-winning author and filmmaker and has previously worked as an international lawyer, including for the United Nations. Invitation to our next Free Online Workshop: Leadership in a changing and complex world
Monday, 20 Nov. 2023 from 16:00 to 17:30
A guest speaker at a seminar we recently facilitated shared his own definition of VUCA: “Having a Vision, knowing your USP (unique selling proposition), taking Chances, and having Ambition.”
Being aware that the world we live in is increasingly complex is one thing. It is quite another thing to live the strategies and practices to respond to it at an individual, team and organisational level. We explore the latter in our workshop: How can we bridge our vision and purpose with our daily work? How can we identify risks and opportunities in what can sometimes feel an overwhelming environment? And how can we bring our unique strengths to the process?
Join us on Zoom for a free workshop on “Leadership in a changing and complex world”. Over 90 minutes we will:
explore tools and models from systems thinking to make sense of a changing and complex world,
learn about practices and tips that you can use yourself and in your team on a daily or regular basis,
invite you to share your own experiences and hear from others from around the world.
This workshop also provides an opportunity to learn more about what Unity Effect offers in the areas of leadership development, organisational learning, and regenerative measurement and evaluation.
This is a free, public workshop. We especially welcome those working in purpose- and vision-driven organisations, such as foundations, development agencies, social enterprises or impact networks. Whether you’re a leader, team member, or simply curious to explore the topic, we invite you to join us — and would love to learn from your experiences too!
You don’t need any prior knowledge to attend the workshop. Just bring your curiosity, and ideally join us from somewhere you can speak during breakouts.
We look forward to welcoming you!
The Unity Effect Team
Join us to explore methods, tools and tips for systems thinking to make sense of a changing and complex world, and team and leadership practices.
January Community Call
Leading Positive Change: The Power of Stakeholder Engagement
Driving positive change is crucial for our society to thrive sustainably on a habitable planet. The required efforts to achieve these goals will need to happen in all the layers of society – companies included. At the same time, leading change within a company demands a lot of courage and persistence, with the added challenge of convincing employees to support and embrace the necessary changes. How can we best approach these challenges?
In this community call, Julia Bodin, founder of Let's Talk Waste, will share insights on how stakeholder engagement was a key element of success in the collaboration with Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling, a company who committed to achieve zero plastic waste in their operations by 2025 .
Facilitators:
The call will be hosted by Kaspar Paur, collaboratio helvetica's key account lead with catalyst, and founder of Let's Talk Waste, Julia Bodin. Let's Talk Waste is a project that empowers employees to actively engage and work on waste reduction, and related topics. Since 2018, Julia educates, empowers and co-strategizes with employees of companies who are looking to either raise awareness of the impact of waste and plastic pollution and/or who have a specific goal in mind to reduce waste production at their location.
