INTERGENERATIONAL COMBINING: HOW CAN WE AS A SOCIETY MITIGATE THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT AND THE DEMANDS OF THE FUTURE?

In this call, we are going to talk about intergenerational combining. One of the generative conversations that is missing in our efforts to 'future-proofing our society' is among the young and the aged – the generations that are not yet in powerful decision-making positions and the ones that are. Nobody wants an unsafe world, and yet, bills need to be paid, food needs to be on the table, jobs need to be guarded, and economic and social stability for now and the near future seems to be incompatible with an ecologically viable future. We as a society are struggling to mitigate the needs of the present with the demands of the future.
