The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals face an annual funding gap of USD 3tn.

Private individuals are more than ever interested in contributing to solving the world’s most pressing challenges as investors. The problem with impact investing is that so far it remains difficult to access for non-professional investors. Primarily that is due to a knowledge gap and regulatory challenges. Better understanding and offerings are needed.

Solution

An app that answers everyday personal finance questions through a sustainability lens and provides impactful investment options.

Why us?

• Finance guy with entrepreneurial mindset and empathy – this is how a former employer describes me.
• Academic: B.Sc. B.A., Uni Mannheim; M.Sc. Finance, Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).
• Professional: Worked in investing and at different tech start-ups, in roles ranging from sales over project management and finance to entrepreneur in residence, did a banking apprenticeship (Deutsche Bank) and founded a company.

Demand is tested, the pitch-deck ready and feedback positive. What is now needed is a co-founder.

Is this you?

I’m looking for a digital product allrounder to join as co-founder. The ideal candidate

• is customer centric, analytical, data- and KPI-driven and at the same time creative
• has a bias to action, i.e. testing rather than believing, a can-do attitude and growth mindset
• has an entrepreneurial, independent and reliable working style and is willing to take responsibility and “get his/her hands dirty”
• is psyched by the potential of the venture to create real SDG impact

Ideally you have experience as a founder or in a digital product allrounder role, are based in Berlin or Germany and speak at least an intermediate level of German. Prior investing or sustainability domain knowledge is not essential.
