DECEMBER'S COMMUNITY CALL ON EMOTIONS AT WORK
The monthly Community Call is a digital get-together open to anyone interested, in and beyond the community. Each month we focus on a specific topic, creating a shared space for discussion, exchange of ideas and reflection.
EMOTIONS AT WORK: HOW TO STEP OUT OF THE HAMSTER WHEEL?On December 11, we are going to talk about emotions, and how to deal with them, especially at work. In our everyday lives, we constantly experience many emotions. But if we don't acknowledge or express them, our professional conversations can be affected. Keeping too many emotions inside or repressing them can lead to a problem called "Restless Thoughts Syndrome," where we can't stop thinking about the same issue again and again – without ever finding a solution. Together with Alexandra Choutko, we will explore the solution to this common problem: stop (over)thinking and start feeling.
Facilitators:
The call will be hosted by Diana Oser, collaboratio helvetica's community fairy together with our guest Alexandra Choutko. She supports people, start-ups, and organizations on their journey towards transformation, and is especially interested in exploring the deep root causes of issues and recognizing engrained patterns that can be deconstructed and rebuilt to foster well-being. Alexandra is a catalyst in collaboration Helvetica's current fourth edition of the Catalyst Lab for the climate.

Was haben die OmasForFuture mit Genossenschaften zu tun?!?
Mehr, als man denkt…
Seit Juli arbeiten die OmasForFuture an der Digitalisierung.
Dabei wollen sie ihre bisher in Papierform verteilten Heftchen zur Klimabildung der Generation 50+ im Netz verteilen. Bisher waren darin spannende Quizfragen, die man sich selbst beantworten kann. Jetzt soll daraus ein für mehrere Personen online spielbares Quiz daraus werden.
Ich habe die Ehre, dieses Quiz zu programmieren.
Damit wir dabei nicht bei Null anfangen, habe ich meine Community-Plattform „organisator“ als Basis verwendet.
Ja, genau, dieselbe OpenSource Plattform, die auch schon Genossenschaften oder andere Organisationen aus dem Klimaschutz-Bereich verwendet haben, um ihren Mitgliedern eine digitale Heimat zu geben.

Alle neuen Funktionen, die die OmasForFuture für ihr Quiz programmieren, fliessen direkt zurück in die organisator Software und steigern somit die Leistungsfähigkeit für die Genossenschaften.

Oft gehört, nie gefragt? Systemisches Konsensieren!
Was wäre, wenn wir in unseren Gruppen viel bessere Lösungen erzielen könnten durch einfach nur ein anderes Abstimmungsverfahren?
Systemisches Konsensieren ist bald 40 Jahre alt, aber immer noch sehr unbekannt. Nicht mal die deutsche Wikipedia hat einen Artikel dazu (ich war schockiert!).
Deswegen habe ich jetzt eine kurze Erklärung dazu verfasst. Ich hoffe, sie hilft euch und inspiriert dazu, mehr herausfinden und anwenden zu wollen...

danke dir fürs Teilen. Bin sehr großer Fan des systemischen Konsensieren und arbeite gerne damit in Gruppen.
*Klugscheßermodus* - die Null- oder Passivlösung fehlt mir in deiner Grafik. Das ist meiner Meinung einer der kleinen Twists, die das systemische Konsensieren noch cooler macht :-). *modusoff*

Du hast vollkommen Recht. Für ein erstes Bild ist es allerdings schwierig, nur über das Bild die Null-Lösung darzustellen (das ist sehr verwirrend).
Deswegen habe ich es am Anfang mal rausgenommen.

Community Plattform „organisator“ - Welches neue Feature würdest du brauchen?
Die open source Community Platform „organisator“ bekommt neue Features und ein Upgrade auf die neueste Version des zugrunde liegenden WebFrameworks RubyOnRails (neu Version 7 & Hotwire). Ich arbeite zur Zeit intensiv daran, Schwachstellen auszumerzen und zusammen mit den Nutzer:innen sinnvolle neue Features einzubauen.
Gerne würde ich das auch offen und partizipativ machen.
Wenn du eine Idee hast, was „organisator“ dringend noch braucht, welches neue Feature du darin sehen möchtest, dann sag es mir in den Kommentaren.
Wenn du weitere Fragen dazu hast, gerne auch einfach stellen.
Was kann man mit "organisator" machen?
Initiativen, Vereine oder Genossenschaften können damit einen Haufen Probleme auf einmal angehen: #Website, #Blog, #Newsletter, Mitgliederverzeichnis, #Mitgliedsbeiträge oder #Genossenschaftsansteileund Gruppen-Entscheidungen mit #SystemischesKonsensieren lassen sich damit einfach und mit nur einem Software-Paket für die eigenen Leute und die Welt anbieten.
Eierlegende Wollmilchsau sozusagen... 😉

Believe it or not, we are convinced that the processes of measurement and evaluation can actually serve to increase our understanding, foster participation, and deepen our impact.
Rooted in a regenerative approach to measurement and evaluation, Unity Effect’s Impact Garden model draws on the metaphor of living systems and nature. Rather than “comparing apples and oranges”, the model seeks to understand the soil and ecosystem in which the apple and orange trees grow.
If you join, there will also be a surprise for you at the end of the workshop.

Resilient and regenerative teamwork: A workshop for decision-makers in organisations

Citizens’ Assemblies: How can they foster democratic participation?
In this call, we will discuss concrete examples of national Citizens' Assemblies in Switzerland and explore their capacity to enhance democratic participation. Citizens' Assemblies are participatory formats where participants are randomly drawn from the general population, aiming to create an inclusive and representative sample of the population. These assemblies serve as platforms for collectively identifying and developing solutions to complex issues, fostering broader civic engagement and producing socially supported solutions. You will be invited to propose specific topics of interest during the discussions and have the opportunity to learn from our guest's experiences with Citizens' Assemblies.
Jany Barraut and Sarah Friederich, who have been part of the process design and facilitation teams of the Citizens' Assembly on Food Policy and the Future Council U24 on Mental Health, are going to share about their experiences, answer questions and explore topics you might want to discuss further.
